OUR EVALUATION PROCESS

Overall, if you or someone you love is struggling in school, at work, in relationships, or with daily responsibilities, an evaluation may provide the clarity and guidance needed to move forward.

Our goal is to provide clear, actionable recommendations that individuals, families, schools, and communities can put into practice immediately—whether the focus is educational planning, diagnostic clarification, or support for independence and quality of life.

Step 1: Referral & Intake

Families, schools, or individuals can begin the referral process. Intakes last about 45–60 minutes and help us understand the unique questions and needs that bring you (or your child) to evaluation. Intakes can be done virtually or in person. Afterward, you’ll receive paperwork to complete at home so we can gather a full picture and ensure the most accurate and comprehensive report.

Step 2: Testing Sessions

Testing is always done in person. Depending on the age and referral question, this usually takes 1–2 sessions. Many activities feel like games or puzzles, especially for children. Testing can be tiring, so we take breaks as needed and use encouragement, rewards, and strategies to make the process as comfortable and engaging as possible. While ensuring accurate data collection.

Step 3: Analysis

Once testing is complete, our team scores results and brings everything together into a holistic and comprehensive profile. We consider strengths, challenges, cultural background, and family context to provide an accurate and well-rounded understanding to inform recommendations.

Step 4: Feedback & Report

Individuals and families receive a detailed written report along with a 45–60 minute feedback session (virtual or in-person). During this meeting, we explain the findings, recommendations, answer questions, and discuss next steps.

Step 5: Collaboration

With your consent, we can share results directly with schools, doctors, or other providers to support holistic and compressive care across settings. In certain circumstances, our evaluators will meet directly with your school district to discuss the results and recommendations from the evaluation.
